SASKIA HARPE

CURRENT is a festival in Amsterdam that defies genre, its lineup consisting of the up and coming, ‘current’ new artists. Held at the Westergasfabriek, an old coal gas plant, the festival’s name and logo are inspired by electricity. The geometric design was inspired by electronic music and evokes the Bauhaus and de Stijl movements. The colours are also borrowed from these movements, as well as the Dutch flag.
